How Do You Style A Small Bathroom?

Styling a small bathroom can seem like a big deal at first, but don’t let that fool you: even small bathrooms can be beautiful. Just because your room is tiny, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice fashion and functionality. Dark walls lend a certain elegance, richness, and sense of mystery to any space. Dark walls also make for a very bold and dramatic aesthetic that no matter the size, makes a bold and dramatic statement. While dark colors are still beautiful and timeless, there’s also some things to keep in mind when applying them in smaller bathrooms.

White Tiles – One thing many new owners tend to forget when styling bathrooms is the fact that white tiles are beautiful in and of themselves. Tiles come in a variety of styles, patterns, and hues which means that there’s bound to be a hue and pattern you’d like to incorporate into your design. If you’re seeking a classic look, then consider pairing a white tile with cutout floral patterns in tiled borders. If you want a more modern take on the theme, then a tiled border with clean cutouts or a contemporary soapstone towel rack may be able to help carry it.

Clean Wall Colour – Another important aspect of styling a small bathroom is the wall colour. This is often one of the last aspects of the room to be addressed, since most people don’t spend much time actually planning out what their walls should look like. If you’re in doubt as to what colours will go well with your existing paint colour, then consider using wall paint to provide contrast between your colours. Some popular wall paints include warm orange, crisp lemon yellow, and cool black. For the bathroom, consider using warm tones of brown and green to create a more spacious environment.
